Canadian Bishops Meet With Government Representative; Express Dissatisfaction With Government’s Recent Position on Gaza

ELCIC bishops met with David Foxhall, the Government of Canada’s head of development program in Ramallah, and Justine Foxhall. During the meeting the bishops expressed their dissatisfaction with the governments recent position on the conflict in Gaza. Appreciation was expressed for the humanitarian aid that has been committed to Gaza, but the bishops underlined their concern for a long-term solution for peace with justice in the region.
